Hello guys, below you can find a short review of Worldopoly, which is currently in pre-ico stage.

What is Worldopoly? It is basically a game in which you can buy / sell real estate with cryptocurrency, based on the usage of google maps, virtual reality and blockchain technology.

Idea

What I like about Worldopoly is that you can earn crypto while playing the game and I find the idea of combining gaming with virtual reality very good. (see previous success of Pokemon GO)

The hard cap is pretty low, which creates a big potential return on investment, bonus is decent and 75% of the tokens will be sold during the token sale, which states that the team is not greedy.

The roadmap is long and full of good releases, which could lead to a gradual increase in token value.

Advisors

They have a large team and advisers, who are very experienced and cover all areas needed to make the project reach its full potential.

Prototype

The game was already developed since 2014, but the implementation on the blockchain is still to be done. A stable release of the game is expected in late 2018.

The token could be used as a currency to buy items, or participating in different auctions, access advanced features of the game, or advertisement placements within the game, which could create demand for the token.

Competition

I don't see any competition so far, but the trend of integrating virtual reality into the gaming industry is rapidly growing, so I expect to see a lot more competition in future.

Telegram has around 6.000 users and their Twitter account has almost 5.300 followers, which is average, and presence on other social media channels is also average, which states that the project is currently still pretty much under the radar.

Overall conclusion

Worldopoly is a very good project with a strong team and a small hard cap, which could bring a high potential return on investment long-term, but also short-term if more hype will be created around the project before token listing on exchanges.
