SpringRole is the platform where people can view, share and get attestations on their professional profile, thereby creating a verified resume that they can share and use. A user’s professional profile contains three parts: educational qualifications, work experience and skillset.
Each of these three will have their own flows to get attested and once they are verified, we write them to the blockchain. These claims, once verified, will not have to be re-verified in the future and can be relied upon. 


The current staffing and recruitment system is associated with problems that prevent the most qualified candidates from taking the best positions and prevent companies from getting the most skilled and talented employees for the open vacancies in their institutions as well. A total of 53% of all job applications today contain significant inaccurate information, the CVs are unverified and can have fake or falsified information.
SpringRole has the perfect tool to put an end to the questionable recruitment and inefficient hiring processes. In fact, endorsements have become meaningless in a professional network — SpringRole wants to use weighted endorsements to evaluate profiles objectively. Moreover, verifications require a lot of time, manpower intensive and have to be redone for each request.



SpringRole is a decentralized attestation-based professional platform based on the blockchain technology. Using it, you can view, share and get attestations on your professional profile, thereby creating a verified curriculum vitae. A user’s education and work experience are verified by the universities and companies concerned and then written directly to the blockchain. This verification should be done only one time and can be used whenever needed.


On the platform, your skill reputation is crowdsourced and is weighted according to the skill level of the person endorsing you. After verification and endorsement skillsets, the changes will be added on to the block after the data is accepted by both the sender and the receiver.
SpringRole will have all the functionality of LinkedIn but it won’t sell the users’ data and post ads, thereby not only the website will gain from people using it. SpringRole is revolutionizing its industry by stimulating endorsements based on the blockchain. The payments are made in tokens if you want to make an endorsement, which, in turn, makes people be more selective in this process.



SPRING Token

Spring Tokens are ERC-20 compliant tokens issued by SpringRole for the users on their platform. The token acts as an incentivization model for users. All the functionality of the platform is linked to SPRING tokens, which can be used in various ways, including referring an individual or institution to the community, the approval of a user’s skillset, and when submitting institutional profiles for verification. The users are also rewarded with tokens for participation in the network for things like messaging, job referrals etc.

The team behind the project

SpringRole is an initiative of Carnegie Mellon University Graduate Kartik Mandaville. In his LinkedIn Profile, Kartik defines the project as a “recruiting startup,” and seems to have spent most of his four-year professional career at SpringRole, or as an advisor in other startups in the LA Area.

Other key team members are David Lewis (business development and strategy), coming from an entrepreneurship background, Shivhrari Shankar (Project Manager), a former software engineer at Cisco Systems, and Vinay Agrawal, as head of engineering, coming from a Chemical Engineering background.

There is also a list of advisors, mostly coming from a tech background such as Alex Waters and Jesse Proudman.
