WHAT IS TOKPIE
Decentralization is at the heart of the blockchain enthusiast’s philosophy, so it is hardly surprising that decentralized peer-to-peer crypto exchanges are rolling out across the world.

Security and privacy
Tokpie does not touch and hold traders’ fiat money as brokers or centralized exchanges do! As a guarantor, TOKPIE holds 95% of sellers’ cryptocurrencies1 in 100% safe TRUE multi-signature hardware (cold) storage and deposits it to buyers’ accounts immediately following payment confirmation, using for that purposes only 5% of assets stored on the platform’s hot wallets. Thanks to company working principle – to not touch fiat money; no bank or government authority can seize or lock the funds of TOKPIE users.
Privacy
An ID verification will be implemented to comply with KYC (Know-Your-Customer) and AML (Anti-money laundering) policies. It allows TOKPIE to provide company users with checked and verified counterparties to prevent scams and illegal activities. The protection of personal data will be reached by the following procedures: First of all, the platform will not store users’ IDs, photos in the web-connected server side. Instead, all this information will be locked in the separate and safest hardware storage which will not be connected to the internet.

Here’s the rub. There are dozens of decentralized exchanges in the works, along with a fair few that are successfully up and running. While TOKPIE’s blog posts make a convincing argument that many of these P2P platforms are glorified advertisement sites, with no real platform for trading per se, it will have a fight on its hands to delineate itself from the crowd. As the sector evolves there will be winners and losers, but TOKPIE deals a strong hand by eliminating fees for most users.

A question that must always be asked is “what is this token for?”. In TOKPIE’s case, TKP will be used for:

It is debatable that the token itself has anything other than a contrived value, and its appreciation potential is dubious.
Conclusion:
TOKPIE’s zero fees and auction-style approach to P2P crypto trading may have legs, but it’s a very crowded race and there are bound to be slips and falls before any clear winner emerges among the P2P competitors.
